Olivia came home every day excited about Athena Camp. She was very interested in the wide breadth of sports she was learning and loved the coaches who were teaching each sport. Jenny Cargile chose a life of fitness, energy, and activity early on and continues that with the commitment to bring these life skills to kids through sport. While growing up, Jenny played soccer, basketball, tennis, and softball. At the age of 15, she began teaching youth sports at the local YMCA and Dixie Youth Baseball League and has been coaching ever since. She earned a tennis scholarship to Huntingdon College, and upon moving to Denver, Colorado, Jenny ran a Little Gym franchise, coached fitness and movement classes, and began her family. In 2005, Jenny started Movement Madness, an after-school, summer, and preschool health and fitness program for kids. In 2017, she co-founded the You Go Kid mobile app as a way to help families find and navigate through the multitude of amazing camps, classes, or activities in the Denver area. Jenny lives in Denver, Colorado with her three multi-sport children and one super sweet rescue dog.
Liza lives in Denver, Colorado. She played soccer, softball and basketball while in middle and high school. Liza was able to take her athletic skills to the next level and played at the University of Virginia on a basketball scholarship. The life lessons she experienced in sport made a positive impact on her career. Liza has held leadership positions in a Fortune 500 company, as well as smaller companies and as a management consultant. Additionally, Liza is a volunteer assistant girls basketball coach at Denver South High School. Her business experience and passion for sports has led her to be a founding member of Athena Athletic Camp.
